Ref: ETH2425-1006 | Researcher: Mathieu Menegoz
About This Survey
You are invited to take part in a research study comparing video and text based material and their effect on pilot performance. Before you decide to participate, it is important you understand the purpose of the study and how your data will be used and protected.
What is the purpose of the study?
This study aims at evaluating whether briefing a complex approach benefits from the video format over traditional text and image based documents accessible to pilots.
Why have I been invited to take part?
You have been invited because you are a licensed pilot, student pilot, or aviation professional with experience in complex airport approaches. Your professional expertise makes your feedback particularly valuable for this research.
Do I have to take part?
Participation is voluntary. You can skip questions you do not want to answer. If you complete the survey, your responses will be stored anonymously and cannot be withdrawn due to the lack of identifiable information.
What will happen to the results?
The data will be analysed by the researcher as part of their master's thesis. The results can be published in an academic or professional capacity, but any data will ensure anonymity.
